Grips Grips Grips

They really are comfortable? I am getting the Black Diamond pegs for my Dyna and I like those grips but they just look like they'd vibrate your hand into oblivion easier than the stock grips. Thus I've been contemplating the Black ISOs...
So how do the Black Diamonds compare to the stock grips?

I have the diamond black grips on my Iron, and I love them. The color that they change to is amazing. They're made to "age" the more you use them, and they look sick. I get compliments all the time on them. They're not as comfortable, imo, as my ISO's I had on my Honda, but they're not bad.

Man I rip Porsches in half with these delicate hands.
Cool. Let me get some more miles on these. I'll go to the dealer and check out some grips in person too.
Another question... So are there any throttle bosses that work with these other grips? I really dig that part of the ISO grips.

I wrapped the OEM grips with 550 / parachute cord. You vets know what I am talking about. Unfortunately it's not the real 550 cord, but close enough. The local surplus store has it for six and half dollars for 100 feet. Comes in several different colors, but I like OD green.
Took about 10 feet per grip and about an hour each to knot. The knotted side lined up in the crooks of my fingers, which allows me to hold on when I am long distance riding. They are not cushioned, but 7 hours down to SC did not bother me.
If you decide to do this, just remember to pay attention to the tightness of the throttle side. If it's too tight, there will not be enough free play to spring back. You will have to push the throttle forward to stop the flow of gas.

They are just as comfortable if not slighly more so than the stock IMO because they are just a tad thicker, they are not amazing when it comes to comfort but the way they look make up for that, vibration really isn't bad at all infact I didn't notice any difference in vibration over the stock, thats on an Iron.
Good luck ... hope you are happy with whatever you decide to get !
