Default Has anyone installed Lick's 2g short shocks

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade my shocks and was wondering if anyone had experience with the Lick's products? They seem to produce high quality stuff.

Here's a link to the shocks in question.

Great shocks and great customer service. They are a bit stiffer than stock but well worth it for the looks.

Any rubbing issues with these using the stock rear fender and stock configuration?

How is the handling?

Thanks!

The weather has to be better now, have you take it for a ride yet? How does it ride?

Yep got about 300 miles or so on them now. The ride is stiff! I am only 125 pounds though. I need to see if I can soften them up a little. I think they are set on the stiffest setting out of the box. It's not a bad ride but you do feel all of the bumps in the road though. The worst ones are when you come across the little bridges that are on the highway. They buck you pretty good if you don't get a chance to get off the seat in time! I don't mind though because I don't do long rides and I built my bike for show and not comfort! If you do long rides, then this is not a shock for you. You will be sore,ha!

You steered me away, thank you! I need to find something lower then stock and ride a little nicer. I know that's a lot to ask for but I'm not in a hurry.

I think the only way your gonna get a good ride and be lowered is air shocks.Any 10" shock won't have much suspension travel

Aren't the Burly shocks supposed to be pretty good?
