Default New Tires, new Tubes?

Going to purchase some white walls. Question is...do you need to buy new tubes or can you use the old ones? Old tubes have about 1,500 miles on them.

If the tire uses the same size/type tube, then you're probably ok. Not every tire has the same tube size, so check into that. The recommended practice is to replace them, but with only 1500 miles it's no big deal.

Myself I run my tubes for 2 tires. On the third tire I replace the tube. Never had a problem yet.

Tubes are pretty cheap, i change them just because of that, just like oil changes just because you can doesn't mean you should lol

I know most dealers will not install new tires on a laced wheel without new tubes and wheel bands. I know I will not let anyone install a new tire on my laced wheels without new tubes and bands. Why risk your life, bike and new tires over something so cheap?

I don't think that you will find many people that have actually had a blowout disagree with you and the ones that don't will learn someday))

+1 on the bands.
Seems this is the wear item - spokes to band.

Tube.
Conservative (safety) would be to replace each time.
Every other tire, with low mileage, seems OK as stated above.
Perhaps tubes every three years as to the rubber aging, no matter the mileage.

FWIW If low price for band and tube, I would install new with each new tire.
