I don't know about a 200, I rode a Victory with a 240? It handled terrible, I guess terrible would be too strong a word, steering was very high effort I didn't like it at all.You would probably be better off buying some sportbike rims and going with something like a 180 rear and a 120 front that's what most modern sportbikes are running these days including the Buells.

Your engine would be doing more work turning a bigger/heavier wheel and tire.I've experianced this twice with running oversized rear tires on lightweight street and dual purpose bikes.I'm guessing going from the Sportsters stock 140? to a 200 would create this same effect.

Anyway... I think the only problem is getting the mass rolling... and really don't think that would be any kind of real problem....
However.... there is a lot more to it than the bigger tire... wheel.... wide tire kit.... transmission shaft extension or at least an offset pulley, side cover, rear fender, will the exhaust clear... shock tree widening.... probably more....
