i have the same bike and was thinking of doing this also. how do you get that paint in all the tight spots when you do this? like the part of the jugs that face eachother and the jug that is closest to the oil tank on the back side? i am afraid to paint because of that. do you take off the air cleaner? give me a step by step if you could. thanks!

Nice job, looks really good, and you saved some $$$$ by doing it yourself.

I removed the pipes, and aircleaner. Masked it all off and started in the tight spots, light coats, several passes until its all coated. Takes way longer to prep, than to paint.

Have not done the Bug-Out, have only done shows in Chattanooga, Sevierville, and Huntsville, AL. and Camping on North Carolina.
