Nicely done! The black looks WAY better than the original gray.

Looks great! Nicely done. Got a picture of the paint can? I know you said it was local, but would be made by a larger manufacturer such as DuPont or PPG.

What was the high temperature of the paint? Was it 500 or 1200 degree?

Looks really good. Something I want to do to my nightster too. Still not sure why the iron got black engine and the nightster got grey.

I'll take a pic of the can for you guys this morning. this is such a cheap easy mod guys. Must have cost me $10. I didn't even remove the pipes...heck, i didn't remove a single thing. Just mask EVERYTHING off. Took me about an hour to do.

Welcome to the Dark side. Really what the heck was Harley thinking creating a bike called the "Nightster" and leaving the engine grey!!

Looks great, I need to do mine. I think it will get done presidents day weekend unless it is nice then I will be riding it and not painting it!!!!!
