If you judge the quality of an exhaust system by how loud it is....well then you don't know $hit about exhaust systems. Any pipes can be loud. Just remove the baffles! duh! Now if performance is what you desire (like me and all others who are comfortable with their weenie size) than a quality 2 into 1 is the way to go. Any good wrench/engine builder will tell you that. Remember the song, "Girls just wanna have fun?" How about "Posers just wanna be loud!"
V & H 2 into 1 PRO PIPE HS w/competition baffle, performance, style and sound = perfect for my 1450 Twin V 88
(deep beefy loud but not deafening )
wifey don't mind it either, (notice tip postition, behind riders ears) very important, no headaches...wink wink
you're in the wrong thread. i'm pretty sure there are a few threads on sporty/girls bikes or whatever. ride safe!

seems like everyone is running vance and hines pipes. personally, i think they suck. not loud enough for me. i'm running python 3's on my 08 sporty. my friend and i swapped bikes for about 2 miles because he said how loud my pipes were i wanted to see for myself. holy smokes! my ears hurt as he gunned it past me!
I like loud pipes too but you have to use a little bit of your brain. It's guys like you that have to be loud as possible that are causing all of the crackdowns on any bike with aftermarket exhaust.
