Have you ever tried to fill the pipe with water, freeze it, then try to bend it?
I know they do this when making instruments so they don't lose the shape while they bend the brass.
Keep up the awesome work and keep posting. You have added a ton of good info. Thanks for taking the time to do so.

I've tried packing it full of wet sand but the time it takes isn't really worth it to me.

Here they are fully welded, smoothed and sandblasted. Ready for coating.

hahaha - Mike, how pissed would your wife be if she went to the freezer to get some ice and it's filled with exhaust bends. lol

Lol. It would be an interesting conversation but she's used to it. When I turn nylon bushings on the lathe I freeze them first to keep them from wobbling around. She bought me a fridge for the garage because of that...and to keep me from tracking metal shavings through the house when I want a drink.

nice pipes. im buliding a garage in the spring and most of the reason is to be able to fab my own stuff.
