From what I can see the bike looks badass man. I love that plain gloss black paint .

Since the Fastenal breather bolts are said to be a no go & I refuse to pay the $30-50 DK & LowBrow want for 2 bolts, where can I get a set(2) of breather bolts for a REASONABLE amount of money? I think $10 is high for them but that's about what I'm willing to pay. Are we 100% sure the Fastenal's are a no go??????

Like I said earlier, you would do better listening to mreed than me. He knows waaay more about the subject than I do. But If you have the time to do so, and a local Fastenal (or similar) shop, take something that you know fits properly down to them and see if they have some kind of breather bolt that is a correct fit.

They are a definite no go for a direct fit but have you seen they way I use them?

If you already have the breather hose nipples for the tube you can remove the nipple & tap it for 1/8" npt and use the fastenal breathers.

If not, you can use those same 1/8" npt breathers in a plain old 1/2-13 bolt from the hardware store.

Man we looked all over for a quality inexpensive solution before finally settling on the Outlaw Breather Bolt design.

The best alternative, which will require some time in the shop on your part, are the ones that Mr. Reed posted with pics. We have done all of those and they work great.

I'd use the banjo's but my kit I ordered didn't friggen' come w/them & all the vendor said was "sorry, they don't come w/them anymore. Send it back". I'd already installed it so no go there. I don't have a tap set but I need to get 1 for my rear spring seat install anyways. Did you put a c clip in the bolt head of the 1 you made? Thanks.

It's a breather vent fitting...hence the need to tap the holes.
