So I need to ask, do the breather bolts "slobber " oil?
Or do the vent clean, they look cool and I guess I could carry a rag. They just seem messy to me. But then again I do not see much oil residue inside my air box.

It's held on with the screws behind the throttle body itself. As far as I know with my setup I don't need the black support bracket...or do I ?? I don't see what it's benefits are or what it even does.

Vibration issue, run atleast the stock bracket

If you have a rubber sleeve between the throttle body & intake manifold you need a support bracket. If that throttle body starts to sag and compromises the rubber seal you'll be in a world of trouble.

My Electra Glide's throttle body and inatke manifold is one big piece without the rubber seal. The whole unit bolts directly to the heads so I didn't run a support bracket...then my bolts loosened.

Your small stock bracket will suffice. It doesn't take much to hold it. The rubber seal holds it fine. It's the vibration from riding that will cause it to sag. You can doll it up with some spaced holes throughout.

Here's my latest version of mike's small, cheap & easy do it yourself air cleaner. I just put this swap meet louvered can over the chrome autozone lid. I also have the K&N E-3120 inside as well. I used rattle can wrinkle finish. the wrinkle came out a little uneven, I'll probably strip it off and redo it eventually. I don't know what that green dot is...Name: DSC_4390.jpg

Same intake as Aaron 48 with the DK breather bolts. Been tested and hammered on....no oil spray/mess so far.
