I bought the AC & mount. My mount (Custom Chrome part # 629302) didn't come w/the crankcase breather bolts. Or ANY bolts for that matter! Where can I buy just the crankcase breather bolts? Thanks.

Scuff it up real good and paint works just fine. You don't need high temp though. Regular primer/paint will do. Find a local bike shop & ask them where they get stuff powdercoated. Most places do it themselves but they'll know where to send you if they don't.

Here's a link to a thread I posted about modifying stock pipes to make them deep & loud.

You can black out your stock pipes with high temp paint.

Any cool spikes or something I can use to hold the filter on, besides a nut or a wingnut? Dig the look, but would like to use a spike or something? Any suggestions or inks?

If all you're wanting is something like a barrel nut shaped like a spike, you could probably find one with a little research online. If not, it wouldn't take a machinist 10 minutes to make you one.

I want to do something unique for mine as well. Was in an antique store over the weekend and they had lots of small metal antique doo dads and nick knacks, cool old emblems, buttons, pins and such that could potentially beturned into a wing nut of sorts. I didn't find anything to suit my taste but there are lots of antique stores around these parts. Just a thought...

"Scuff it up real good and paint works just fine."

+1
And if you can get it sandblasted, the paint will stick like you would not believe.

So the fuel injected model already has a support bracket for the throttle body, thinking as light as that air filter is it would be ok just to mount it to the throttle body...yes?
Just need to make up or buy a vent system.
