Has anyone tried to pipe the crank case vents back into the 4" AC? I will have all my parts tomorrow and am trying to come up with a creative way to conceal the exposed venting as much as possible.
Goinboardn, if you plumb the crank case to the back of the air cleaner make sure that you pipe the tubes around to the mouth of the carb/throttlebody. That will mist a small amount of oil in with the fuel but if you don't, the mist will accumulate at the bottom of the filter eventually leaking out all over the place.
"But for you guys that wear designer jeans, a 4" K&N fits perfectly. Part # E-3120." ......That is funny as ****! lol
Great write up! Will that work on a 97 Softail????
Looks clean and much cheaper alternative to the Joker Machine intakes.
As far as performance, would this setup perform as well as the SE Intake or since the filter is smaller would it restrict airflow if you've already got the SE Intake?
