Default license plate light mod...?

Have 07 1200R...want to chop rear fender, change blinkers over to running\brake lights.

Plan on using belt gaurd to make side plate holder like I saw in thread on this sight. Was wondering how you guys that make your own mods set up license plate light?

Thanks for any help...

Also purchased v&h 2 into 1 blackouts and x14ieds last week - can't wait for spring to get here...we're expecting 6 to 10 inches of snow by Wednesday morning here...

Gotta love Nebraska winters...freezing drizzle this morning wrecks everywhere on the way to work.

I made the side plate mount awhile ago, I put a high out put LED spot light in the rear directional to light it.

I just drilled a hole in the bottom of my turn signal/tail light lense. Shines down plenty.

Do you have a picture of where your plate holder is mounted?
Wondering how close I need to be to blinker - also how big of a hole and any issues cleaning or getting caught in rain?

Thanks

wondering what state you live in and if it's illegal to mount your plate vertical? i'm in pa and no it is illegal but that is the only way it looks good. if the cops wouldn't bother me i'd do it like you have here.

Apparently you didn't really look at the pics. It clearly says INDIANA on the plate.

i have mine mounted very similar and was trying to figure out how to get a light to it. I think the lil hole in the bottom of the blinker is it. great idea.
