Mines a 2011 so the decal says Sportster, would prefer a 2012 that says 'Forty Eight'...But it don't really matter as im getting my bike painted next Winter...

 

I like my tank decal Then again I didn't pay for it, so if I had the choice I would have gone with a matte black paint scheme.

 

 

 

The only thing worse than that graphic is the new rear fender on the 2014 Fat Bobs.

 

WOW, you aren't kidding, those rear fenders on the new FB's are gross, just saw one for the first time. All of the 48 tank decals are too big, I prefer to subtle minimalistic look myself. The one that says "SPORTSTER" in huge letters in my least fav, I can deal with the large "FORTY-EIGHT".

 

I dislike the logo on the tank, I plasti dipped mine and it still comes through just barely. I'm thinking if sanding the while thing down to metal and clear-coating it. On the other part. I bought the 48 for the tank, under slung mirrors, fat tire and aggressive stance.

 

guess I'm in minority... I like the decal and think many of the others I've seen changed to are a bit cheesy...IMO

 

they cant be too ugly..i won a few 1st place awards with mine....
