dual gauge mount w/ risers
I have a 2007 XL 1200R and installed H-D 4" risers to bring the handlebars to a more comfortable position. Because risers have more pullback angle than the 2' stock risers when I installed the stock speedo-tach mounting bracket the gauges were much more upright.
Does anyone know of a dual gauge bracket that lays the gauges back a bit?
Thanks.

I removed my headlight eyebrow/visor and installed the dual guage mount in the holes where the eyebrow was, of course that means you have to buy or fabricate a bracket for the headlight. If that puts the guages too low for you, you can always use longer bolts and a couple chrome plated sockets as spacers to bring them back up.
Here is the page from when I did mine: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...headlight.html

Okay, here's photos. Not perfect since it's in the garage but it will give you an idea of the vertical angle of the instruments.
I'd like to know if anyone knows of a dual gauge bracket with a flatter, more horizontal angle. I've looked online but to no avail.
Thanks.

i see this is an old thread.. but i myself did similiar to what hotlap did. seemed to be the easiest, and cleanest way to get the guages out of your face. removed my headlight and eyebrow and threw them out. i purchased a custom headlight kit similiar shown here.....http://www.ebay.com/itm/ULTIMA-CHROM...item415e458bc2 and then relocated my dual guages to the headlights prior location. an overall much better look.guages are very easy to read when sitting on bike. i could never stand that headlight set up anyways. apparently no one could, as all the newer models are much different.
