dual gauge mount w/ risers
#11
My bike has the duel gauge set up and has the same risers on it-like that when I got it and always hated the gauges sitting up like that. What i did was get some longer bolts for the eyebrow and some zink spacers from Lows and mounted the gauges on top of the eye brow and it looks much better-cost like $7.00 and took about a half house. Sorry no pix, but you get the idea. Others have done this mod and it works well.

I put the same risers on mine a few weeks ago! I bought a barn door handle,(Lowe's,Home Depot,Ace) cut it in half, drilled some holes, did a little grinding, painted them black, bent them a little to get the angle I wanted and mounted them. It was less than $10! A barn door handle is about $4,can of paint and a couple bolts and nuts! I think it looks OK but we all have different tastes!

I installed pullback risers and remounted the speedo to the eyebrow as well. I used deep chrome sockets as spacers and then painted the bolts with black crinkle paint to match the speedo. I used 13 mm sockets, so now I have a lucky number 13 on each of the spacers, which I kind of like the looks of. It's a cheap, easy, and nice looking way to mount the speedo after changing risers. I originally saw this done on XLforums.
