IMO, anything with a RSD brand on it is over priced. I just don't get it.

but guys you're forgetting it has a slammed handlebar, beefy front end with a fat front wheel, side mounted license plate which is all aftermarket options, right? (complete sarcasm) some idiot is gonna read that and be like awesome all the things I wanted to do it anyways which is gonna make that dealers day and make the sales rep do a number like this

The price is not a miss print. I went and seen the bike and it's not bad, but NO WAY worth that. The salemen walks up and say can I help you and I said I wanted to see what an almost $17k sporty looks like. He got kinda mad and was like you have the paint set. $2500 right there, the pipe, AC and race tunner. I was like um ok then. The paint was ok looking, but I have seen alot better jobs from local body shops.

Also they had a 2011 Blackline there and I have to say it looks better in person, but the rear tire is a 150 I think and there is a nasty looking plate mount under the rear fender. That's an easy fix, but the skinny rear tire not so easy. O

Depends what you are used to, costs about the same for a stock 48 or Nighster here in Australia and the dollar isn't much different these days. Here is a well modded one for sale that was part of a promo last year with dealers competing to build the best 48. I'll see your $17k and raise you ten.

That's the best they could do to try to win? I don't like the looks of that bike at all.

Mabey its the seat,or wraped pipes on a new machine,or that silly thing on the head light, I dont know what it is but I dont like the whole thing.

For that kind of money a buyer would have to be stoned out and recentley pulled off a bank job. J.

It runs $1600 for the Roland Sands exhaust and air intake with a PC III, so add $2100+ for paint that still only adds maybe $3700. $13,900-14,500 and I still think thats pushing it. They better throw in a free leather coat, boots and a helmet. They probably think that its something original, but there's a sucker born every minute that will probably pick it up like some one stated earlier.

The RSD parts line is overpriced, but I have the exhaust and it sounds and performs great. I have also seen a Nightrain with one that sounded great as well. For performance a two into one pipe cant be beat, but there are other options out there that are cheaper like the B&B and also V&H has a black 2 into 1.

I noticed there's a lot of Nightster guys on this thread. Here's an ebay deal that it looks like somebody is gonna steal. It's got a day and a half left on it at no reserve. I'd rather see one of you guys with it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-...item27b8596c90

That is a pretty good deal! If I had the bones I would love to have two, that way I could work on 1 and still have something to ride.
