Default Ok, It's official!

I'm ready for 2011 riding season to begin! From Mid Nov when I stopped till today I've been able to fool myself by thinking "any day now we'll see mid 40's $ the road will be dry so I can take the bike out" It's 6 degrees here today and I've just gotta face the facts. IT COULD BE 2 MORE MONTHS TILL I CAN RIDE!!!!

No rubbing it in, y'all from the southern climes! Just let a guy wallow in his misery K?

A fellow Hoosier. I feel your pain.
Worst part is, i just bought a Buell and I have to stare at it in the garage.
I took it out last weekend (it was like 20-ish) but i couldn't go very far because not all of the roads were clear.
WINTER SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm right with ya! Cincinnati here...same crap. I just hope this is not going to lead to a wet spring/summer. I, too, took delivery of my new bike mid December after selling my old one mid September. Worst part is it is in the shop at work and I can it see through the window in the QC lab sitting at my desk.

Don't feel bad, I ride solo during the winter months, cuz my friends wont ride unless it's 60+ degrees. For some it's a summer hobby. For me it's all I do.

Last year I was out riding by mid-March here in MN. Roads were clear and salt free. This year I'm not so sure. It was -17F this morning, coldest night of the season to date. After -10F it all feels the same. You can take a cup of hot water and throw it in the air and it will turn to snow/freeze before it hits the ground. Apparently my attempts to increase global warming through exhaust emissions have been unfruitful. I'll have to ride more next season!

I hate Winter too.

The roads here had just started to clear up from the last snow storm, then we got hit with another 5 inches last night. Feels like the snow is going to be here until May.....
