Question National Cycle Windshield on 48?

Hey All, Been looking at windshields and was wondering if anybody has used a National Cycles Street Shield or Deflector Screen on their 48 or other Sportster. I've looked at the Harley windshield for the 48 but hate to spend the $350-$375 when I will only use it sometimes. I like not having the windshield (although I really got used t it on my Heritage) but when I ride on the freeway for more than 10 miles the wind really beats the crap outta me with the apes and the upright seating position. The National Cycle windshields noted about are listed on their site for the 48 but am interested in some feedback from anyone who has used them. Do they do well to keep the wind off etc.

I have a National Cycles windshield on my Magna. And an Memphis Shield El Paso on my Sportster. The National Cycles offers better wind protection, but the El Paso is better looking.

If I had to choose only one, it would be the El Paso. It looks better without giving up too much protection. At least compared to the National Cycle.
