Default Quarter fairing

Thinking about getting one for my Iron. Either the HD or Ness. I like the Ness for the looks but the HD for some reason keeps making me think....Would appreciate any thoughts and pictures from any owners. Thanks in advance.

I'm planning on getting the hd one. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I have heard that the ness one can feel flimsy at speed.

I have been thinking of adding one to my Iron as well. I know it is small, but does it change the windflow at all, or provide any protection at all, or is it totally about looks?

I have been told it provides only minimal wind deflection. More for looks.

As an add on, it was bolillo57 who told me that last part. And who's bike made me like the hd fairing look.

Default HD Quarter Fairing

The thing performs perfectly
1 Ton speeds are still dangerous but comfortable XD

The visor does give some wind protection but it is very minimal. Guess the best way to describe it would be to say that the where the wind would normally hit you in the middle chest/sternum area, you will feel it now in the chest. It pushes some wind around but it is definitely not going to keep you dry in the rain or protect you like an actual windscreen would. As for looks and just overall attitude I don't think it can be beat.

Or, you can get creative with something from eBay...
