It might eliminate the gap. As I saw bolillo57's photos he eliminated the gap with just adding the "Dyna Spacers". I don't know though if he had the smaller "Sportster Spacers" on together with "Dyna's" or just the "Dyna's Spacers" only.
Bear in mind however, that if you raise a lot you'll have problem with the speedometer's rear button that will be pushed by the Visor's docking hardware (How I love these small Harley puzzles )

Let me add,,
The HD quarter Fairing Keeps the hurricaine force wind load off my Torso,
It does nothing below 40 mph,,I like the open cockpit feel.
At 50 Its starts making the wind arc up,,hits me upper chest but the
pressure Is already low enough I don't have to hang on the bars or
lean into the wind.
At 60 mph the smooth non turbulent wind arc Is only hitting me on my
upper arms an tops of my shoulders..
At 70 Its smoothly hitting the top of my face shield,,
SO This fairing could send sand or small bugs right into your face
If yer a No helmet person.

Kinda nice at 75 mph and up to relax the torso, arms and hands.
Makes for much less fatigue on long superslab runs.

NOTE: It will not fit the Custom models,,only Sporties and Dyna's with the small headlamp...

bolillo57, I looked up that fairing and it says no go for custom models. Is this true? or is their a work around? I want to put one of these on my 2010 forty eight and I am afraid it wont fit or it will take a lot of modifications to make it fit right. Any thoughts on this? I wish HD would just make one for customs and add a quick release kit.

Thanks

Ash

Not sure about fitting on a custom, might have something to do with different mount for the speedo and the risers. I know there is definitely a difference in the angle of the speedo between the Iron and 48. Might be the same for the bars, riser heightsw angles and such. Sorry can't be much help with that.
