pipes fit?
Quick question. Will short shots fron an 08 883 c fit on an 05 1200c?

They should, but you might need to plug the O2 sensor bungs with a bolt. Pipes for the 2007 and up have the bungs for the sensors.

No, not really. They are on the engine side of the pipes. You can see the bungs if you really look for them, but they are not notable.

And yes, they will bolt right on.
