Default RE: Just bought a tang bag for my Sporty

In the past I have found tank bags to be the single most useful items with motorcycles. However with a Harley, I have my speedo and stuff on the tank! One day I might get one. I dunno. that one is okay, but I woulde get a bit of a larger one. Any tankbag ruins "the look" in my opinion, so why not go with the jumbo for everything I need. The only other thing that comes to mind is that my last magnetic tank bag blew off my bike on the 405 freeway with a very expensive delivery inside. I haven't used one since then.

I heasr you Anubis. I thought the same thing until I found this small one. It actually does not look bad on the peanut tank. On a larger tank like yours, yeah, it might ruin the look. I got it just to be able to put my phone, smoke, some toll change in -- small stuff I can get to easily. They make another small one with a clear pocket to put a map/directions in. That might be useful. But I would not go any larger than what I got. Any larger would not be good. With mine, it is so far down the end of the tank, half the bag is actually on the tip of my seat -- real low profile looking. Sits almost between my legs -- so I doubt it will fly off. That was a concern of mine too. It is only the size of a small fanny pack. For anything larger, I got a leather roll bag from Fox Creek LEather that straps to my sissy bar and luggage rack.

One of these days Ill grab my camera and take a pic of both bags on the bike to give people an idea of what it looks like. Plus some picks with the Memphis sport shield I put on to help with the winter. Damn glad I had that sucker on last night when I got caught in a downpour. It keep my body from getting beaten down!

A small one like that might be a good idea..especially since it's removable.

haha. Just caught that one. Surprised I missed it all these times. I edited the title from tang to tank. Thanks!

I must always have 'tang on my mind. That is my only excuse!

Sorry about the no pic. Most of my riding has been at nighht, and I have not hadgood daylight to take some pics. I'll try this weekend.

The bag is very easily removed. It is just two magnets holding it to the tank. Check out some of the pics on the website:
http://www.legendaryusa.com/PhotoGal...=3#largerphoto

With the sporty it wraps aroudn the whole tank and looks better.

It sounds like a good one, post some pics. I might look into getting one. Since it is removable, It would be nice to use on the long rides.
