I'm in the same boat with you.....Spring Seat with no Springs. But mine doesnt have any padding either, straight Metal. I believe in if your bike has springs your seat shouldnt. If your running Hardtail then your seat can have springs. Spring Bike and Spring Seat just dont go together
It started out the same Rich Phillips seat you have but with black insert and the white piping but got tired of it so ripped it off lol Even with the seat straight metalI can still ride an entire Gas Tank without getting off

The picture was taking between the hour when I bobbed the fender and then removed the pegs, they no longer are there. Where did you mount your front Signals, I took all my signals off but just interested in where you put them

 

front sigs now live down near the fowards on home made bracket.
