i wear a novelty, and love it. its comfortable and looks good... i wanted to please the OL and good old Johnny Law, so my wife bought me a Daytona Cruiser 3/4 helmet for Christmas. It said its the smallest DOT there is. I have a small head.. i got it and the helmet was HUGE on me i looked like the martian in the cartoons and a mushroom head!!... so what im asking is; am i just screwed on a DOT helmet... or are there some that are way smaller than the Daytona... cuz that was BIG!

 

I have a small head also so ALL the helmets look crazy big on me.
I wear a non DOT helmet most of the time, but I still wear the others on occasion...even the full face.
So unless somebody else has a good suggestion all of us people with small heads will just have to look goofy.

 

I wear a knock-off DOT 1/2 right now, but I've been thinking about one of Bell's retro 3/4's. I also have a small head but don't look too stupid. I say get what you want and forget what others think.

 

I am in your boat as well. Helmets always look goofy on people with small heads. Sucks trying to find sunglasses or eye protection for riding. Nothing ever fits right or looks right.

 

just get a fullface. if you look stupid no one will know who you are.

besides you wont get ticketed for it and if you fall off you'll get to keep your pretty smile.

i hate helmets. but i wear a fullface when i have to wear one.

 

I do a full face during the winter but gets way too hot here in SE Texas for a full face during the summer months. We don't have to wear helmets here in Texas but I am not brave enough to go without.

 

I picked up a Vega XTS half helmet for Christmas. It's the first helmet I've ever tried that didn't give me the famous mushroom head look.

 

Thx will have to look into Vega helmets.

 

I also have the same problem..i went with zox old school beanie...not nearly as bad as some of the others i tried...goes for around 50 dollars

 

Vega all day, looks almost like the novelty's and is DOT, I have a small head and it looks normal... it also sits nice and low.
