Default backrest / sissy bar 4 solo seat ??

My wife would like to have some form of back rest for her bike while riding solo. Is there such a thing?

Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about a sissy bar or a backrest like you can add on to a Road King?

If a sissybar, then yes. I have one on Tiffany's bike. I was considering making one that is a little more forward for solo seat riding. This will allow some lumbar support without having to stretch back, like the current bar requires.

Here are some pics.

Mustang sells solo seats with riders back rest but they run close to $500. I've always thought about converting a standard passenger back rest so it could work as a riders back rest.

She has a Lepera seat now. I am looking to find a backrest for her using that seat. The Lepera has been custom re-built for additional lowering.

I can tell you I have been looking for the same thing, only difference is I have a sundowner 2-up seat. Have the sissy bar on the back of the bike for the wife, but have back issues myself, so on long rides by myself would love on for me. When she's on, I just lean back into her. What I have found are some companies that make one that bolts to where the shocks are, but only work with stock seats. Price isn't bad, but most I know who have stock seats don't ride for many miles at a time BECAUSE of the seat. I ride mine all over Florida and Georgia so a better seat was needed. So, I search on......

Bit of lateral thinking I know, but hey you could also carry some stuff too then :-)
