Thanks everyone for the advice. Think I'll go with the foam plugs.

Make shure you put em In right,,not too deep,,hard ta get out,,
Roll em skinny,,
screw em In,,,
and hold onto the end till they expand all the way,,,,

Too quiet,,,
don't screw em In so far,,,

Still too quiet,,
cut about 1/3 off,,,
STILL hang onto them till they finish expanding,,,

playing guitar for forever, I've kinda killed some hearing. Work requires the ear plugs and I'm cool with that because I don't want to be deaf. I think they say that a motorcycle is around 100 decibels, I've actually been wearing ear plugs inside my full face helmet to help preserve the hearing I have left. I'm not crazy about that in a city but open road I'm good with it.

someone posted the blue ear plugs with the cord on them from walgreens for 4 bucks... I get them for 50 cents a pair at work without the cord, if you want to pm me guys, I'll get some and pass them on to you. I actually am not crazy about them and have 8 pair sitting here that I won't use.

I don't think FF helmets do much to knock the wind down. However, when I put ear plugs (foam) in and wearing my helmet which is a FF, its like the wind resonates in my head and is very uncomfortable. I tried it for a while but eventually just quit wearing plugs it got so nauseating.
