Very pleased. My 48 is all black so the smoked lenses kinda blend it all in. There's no re-wiring necessary....pop the stock lense off, remove the stock bulb, replace with LED bulb, snap on the lense. Its about as simple as it gets and it wont void anything.
Those jokers look sweet. I went with direct replacement led 1157 bulbs from kurkuryan or whatever. 11 bucks a pop and all of about 30 seconds to install.
The local HD dealer is saying that I will need to add a power equalizer if I want to run the led lights. Is this true or is he trying to get money out of me? I am looking to switch all my lights over to led.
Well, they have a regular bulb base. But, instead of the incandescent bulb part. There is a flat section of 16 or so LEDs. They are red in color and after seeing them in person I feel they are much brighter than stock (just like on an automobile) Not only that, they light up faster. You can tell the difference better of when it's just lit up or if the brake is actually engaged. Sure you can argue well it's only a fraction of a second quicker and slightly brighter. But, with the way the mind works. That fraction of a second can make a huge difference in reaction times from the jerk off behind you texting at highway speeds. I like the results. Plus I like the old school style of the bike with sprinkles of new technology.

kurkuryan website states you may have to use an equalizer. So far, mine blink at the turn signal rate of the stock bulbs. I did not install any type of equalizer. Hope that helps.
I replaced all of mine with led's off of ebay, no issues at all, they look much better and much brighter.
Took a little bit to install but def worth it, no huge suckers hanging off the bike now
