It looks good but before I'd buy it I'd rather have a Triumph Scrambler.The Triumph is about 50lbs lighter,looks more authentic and I already have a Harley.

word....looks like h-d is so hard up for ideas to sell bikes and how to market to the masses that they had to steal triumphs design. they look almost identical.

No, that's not a Harley design; that's an aftermarket customizer who made that design.

I think the scrambler idea is a good one, now that Buell's not around to produce the XB1200X any more, but I don't see what this scrambler gets you that knobbies on an XR1200 and a different front fender wouldn't also accomplish. Chains are a step backwards in technology, now that the XB1200X proved that belts can handle dual-sport duty just fine.

I'm thinking a kit with new front fender, spoked wheels, taller suspension, and double-duty tires for the XR1200 is all we'd need. I'd buy it.
