The risers on the 48 are not a seperate piece. I have done my research on this, trust me. I have this set-up on my 09 Iron. You need 3.5" straight risers for the speedo bucket to clear the headlamp brow. The risers will need to be machined to fit the 48 clamp. Those are Flanders 28" drag bars.
It does lay down much flatter than the stock, yet retains the stock look.

Yes I did it and with the stock risers. I went with a bottom mount headlight and had to CNC the 48 mount so it would fit since the stock risers have a diffrent shape then the 48 mount.
Here is the CNCed 48 mount
Here is the bike with the speedo mounted with the 48 bracket

thanks for the input. i installed the rsd mount along with biltwell slimline risers and frisco bars. the only problem was the headlight mount portion of the speedo wouldn't fit. the custom's headlight is a bottom bracket mount and won't mount to the speedo. i used 1/4 plexiglass and fabricated a bottom using a dremel tool and traced outline of the bottom of the speedo mount. i primed it and painted it with satin black plastic paint. looks great and you can't tell it's not part of the mount. keep that in mind if you have a custom and want to use the rsd to relocate your speedo. all wires were long enough to intenally wire w/o extensions, clutch, throttle and idle cables fit. the brakeline fits if you bend the metal part, but i bought a new line b/c it looked crappy. actually had the dealer measure it for fit and we ordered a stock length black diamond solid line without the metal part.

Thanks for the compliments on the bike! There are just one or 2 small things left I want to do. I keep thinking maybe new bars, but I really like the stock ones!
