I bought mine this spring with 981 miles (just had its 1000 mile service) and unknown oil.

I just did its first oil change with about 3800 on her and went to Mobile 1 V-twin 20-50

Havent noticed any difference in performance but am sure it will be better in the long term.

2. Harley escaped from the graveyard?

Switched to Syn3 at 1k service. Bike is quieter and shifts better. I ran synthetic in my Gold Wing for 62k with oil change intervals of 4k miles. Never a problem. Cheap insurance. [sm=goodidea.gif]
