I have the SEII's on mine. Don't know if you're looking at the new Street Performance, as they don't make the II's anymore. I love mine. They are loud at the right times (heavy load, acceleration) and are just a great rumble at cruise. Aggressive, but not extreme as drag pipes. They sound like the bike should. I always get compliments on the sound. Try and find some if you can, I recommend them; even if they are used. Mine have the stock baffles that come in the slip-ons. Now if I can just stop getting pulled over at 2am for them!

I've got the black new street legals, I love the sound. Better than the V&H slip-ons that were too loud.

HD SE's are decent pipes & good price to boot. Had a set on my 05 XL1200C & loved the sound - rumble, but not annoyingly loud. I think you'll be pleased.

I had SEII's on my 1200C when I bought it. I didnt think they sounded right so i bought some big city thunder monster baffles to replace the SEII baffle. It has a deeper rumble and a little louder.

My buddy has those on a nightster. Louder than stock but no where near as n as a set of pipes. They sounds good at idle but were too quite at speed for my taste.

Got a set of Rush slip-ons. They will hear you coming a block away.

I am running SE performance slip ons on my 09 1200 and they are far to quiet for my taste. I removed the baffles, cut 2 " off the end and removed the packing (spark arrestor) and it gave it a little more sound but over all im not satisfied. I think I will go with big city thunder baffles.

Its up to you though. If you want just a little louder than stock and good performance then these are great mufflers. For me they don't meet my expectation of the Harley Sound we all love

I put some SEII slip-ons on mine (no longer available). They came without baffles and they were just insanely loud with too much of a 'boom' to the sound.

I put some baffles in from V-Twin Manufacturing - they are very similar to the Thunder Monster Baffles and while the pipes are still very loud, the baffles have flattented the tone and removed the echoey 'boom', and they are a LOT cheaper than the Thunder Monsters too.

Mine are louder than my fella's drag style slip-ons on his XL1200. If I didn't have the SEII slip-ons I probably would've gone for Rush instead.

Good luck with whatever you decide
