Their Website leaves a lot (i mean mucho) to be desired, but they have catalog to download. May have to call for pricing.

Here's a cut sheet on the King Spokes

yeah, i actually called them and they also acted like i wanted a zoo animal for a pet. "wides glide don't do dual disks" "i've never heard of that"

in most cases, even after explaining what i was doing, people though i was a nut and refused to help. those types of calls are large part of the reason i ended up going with the craptastic wheel with clocked rotor issues.

i don't hate the crappy wheel at all though (now). it is performing like a champ! i actually enjoy riding my wide glide now. no fear of not being able to stop or the front wheel chasing cracks and holes in the road. me and the bike have come to an understanding. amazing what vision, tutoring, and elbow grease can do.

You guys were just on "different pages"

Should have just ordered the 37-542...It's the dual disc "Touring"...just what the doctor (drdr) ordered

manage your expectations... you will be less likely to be "Kinda [disappointed]" or buy a sport bike.. the stock sportster is super unstable above 100... you are playing roulette with your life at that point.

If I want (notice I didn't say need) to go over 118 on a cruiser-type motorcycle I'd get a Ducati Diavel. It's top speed is merely 169mph (240km). However, I'd be understandably disappointed at not being to hit 170.

Oh, By the way, the Harley speedometers are notoriously inaccurate. Mine is 5% fast compared to my GPS. That's significant. At an indicated 100 I would be going an actual 95.

a lot of cars and trucks are the same. my z4 is usually going about 5mph slower than the speedo reads

I don't think it would have the power to pull it. I'd bet the farm on it. Takes some great power to hit 147mph on an Xl

I topped out at 70 on my 48. Speed limit is 65 and cruised a little past to get around vehicles. My speed demon 125+mph on gixxers is long over. I just wanna enjoy the ride and enjoy being at home with my kids afterwards. Cheers!
