Had mine up to 95 on an entrance ramp to the intersate once...

It is almost impossible to keep your head straight. The wind is terrrible and if you try and sit up (from the normal rocket crouch, lol) It blows you around pretty good.

 

I have had mine up to 95 when it became obvious that the suspension wasn't good enough to handle speed above 90

 

I'll just say over 100 and leave it at that. Once or twice with a passenger.

and that´s why i don´t have that type off bike, i would use it almost every time i rode, think i would be dead with in 2 weeks, iam stil that km/h(mph) crasy at the age of 38
had my iron up to around 100mph saturday and that was short stint on the roads where max allow is 50-55 mph. it was stabil even with some wind.
ps. my car right now is a vw up(999ccm and 3 cylinders)

Had my 883 ( I know y'all are talking 1200's) up to about 90 right after I bought it just to see. Might have had a "bit" more. I don't know. Way to fast for me. I am no speed demon.

 

Weird, just saw this tonight. Got off the freeway a few minutes ago. Topped at 110 on my 883 (stage 1) on the ride. Fastest I've been on it but I think it could go faster. Had a long stretch of no cars at this time of night. I regularly travel at 85-90. Flow of traffic is about 80 where I live.

 

On my 2004 Custom I believe the speedo stopped at 135 in 5th @ 3000rpm. I imagine it redlined around 150mph. I couldnt keep that thing slower than 80...
