I just got an 07 Sportster 883 and I want to know the difference between the Iron 883 bars and the regular Sportster bars other than color. Any difference in dimensions? I like the geometry of the Iron and I want to copy that on my bike so need to know if I should change my handlebars as part of the conversion. Thanks.

The come within 1/4 inch of the tank emblem when tilted either way.

All I did was mount the drag bar, then invert the stock mirrors. No tweaking needed.

Nice bars, but you need to have money to burn to buy 'em...$100 for a flat drag bar? C'mon...

Does anyone know if there are drawbacks to getting the 28 inch bars opposed to the 32 inch ??

Maybe some turning radius issues with it coming to close to the gas tank. Other than that I can't really think of anything.

How wide your shoulders are. With stock bars I see my elbows in the mirrors.

How long your arms are too

I got some of those drag bars from that eBay seller the other day, they fit pretty good although I can see its going to be fun getting the controls back on and mounted up, especially the throttle side its gonna be tricky. Just have to wait on my new grips hopefully this weekend so I can tackle it.
