I've been looking for drag bars to and they look pretty nice. And sorry if this is a newbie question but what do you have to drill?

You shouldn't [don't] have to 'drill' anything. T-bars or bars with separate risers all bolt to the triple tree. It's pretty easy to change bars with a little common sense or a shop manual.

They bolt right on. No drilling needed
Yup mine were the $40 buck E-Bay ones.

Ok good I was hoping no drilling involved since that's about the cheapest I've seen what I was looking for. I may just have to pull the trigger on those bars myself

when people say drilling they mean to run the wires internal through the handle bars so it cleans the look of the bike up... some come pre-drilled and some dont.

I got a 32" drag bar from Custom Chrome (Santee I think, $40)...drilling required for running cables internally!

I'm super curious how you inverted your mirrors with that 4.5 tank and if they clear when you turn your forks. I had to bend the sh#t outta my mirror stems to accomplish that.
