Default Craigslist find: 09 1200C

It may be a bit high on the price, but looks like a nice bike if anyone is looking.

IMO the price is not all that bad, but something does not look right about that bike. That bike is the same color as my 2008 1200 C, but there are a few things that have been changed. First that is not a 21" front wheel like the C should have-it's a 19" second the rear signals look like the very old style, not anything like the stock ones on my bike and third the rear shocks are long as hell. Oh well someone will buy it and enjoy it.

That's why it looked different... The front wheel has been changed. I think it still looks tough. The word Custom may be misunderstood, although it does have the C tank and risers.

A lot of guys change out that skinny front tire on the C's for the 19''. I know cHarley talks about it, stating it gets much better mileage before it needs replacement and better handling.

Well my XL50 has the 19" front and my C has the 21". I have the say the 21" looks better IMO, but deos not handle near as well and the tire does seem to be wearing out faster. IMO the prices is not bad at all for NE ohio. I mean go on Akron or Clevelands CL and that bike is not priced bad at all. There are alot older bikes with alot higher asking price.

If you're gonna buy on Craigslist, keep in mind a lot of people over price everything from bikes to refrigerators. I like to use NADA to determine a value, and factor in add-ons, mileage, and other things that will adjust the value. Ultimately, what it's worth is only what someone is willing to pay. In this market, you can get some real good deals because many people can't afford the added expense of a bike anymore.

Yeah for sure. Well in Streetsboro we have about 2 feet of snow and counting so i'm not even thinking about riding right now, Hell I would just love to be able to drive normal for once. it's been snowing since Saturday afternoon and has not stopped.
