First time poster here, any help much appreciated.
I've been trying to find out how far back the Vance and Hines Straightshots extend. Have not seen any in person on a Sporty. Just from looking at pictures on this internet thing, it looks like the slip on's are a little longer, looks like the one piece Straightshots end at the axle nut. Can anyone confirm their length before I spring for them? Thanks for any help.

 

Try Utube...search Sportster with V&H straightshots....you'll get several hits. That should give you a pretty good idea.

I had those pipes on my sportster and liked them. Plenty loud for me..even with the quiet baffles.

Not sure what year you have but this pic is of my 04 with V&H Straight Shots on the OEM Headers .. Sounded Good ... Still Miss my 04 sometimes...

 

i had the straight shots if i remember one was longer than the other the short kept the other one gold looking and where the heat sheilds stop the rest would get gold looking. I put some vance and hines big shots on they are great and loud.

I have them on my 2003 Sportster. There are many more pics in my profile picture album. Mine are the entire set not just the slip-ons. The slip-ons are a little shorter

I love the sound of mine. They have a very small baffle in them. They sound like the big Harley's sound
