Do some actual research. All they had in 1903 was a drawing. That drawing never came to be. The model that they finally produced (in 1905) was a copy of another company's bike. There never was a Harley motorcycle in 1903, and all the wishful thinking in the world won't change that.

No wishful thinking at all...I don't care if the first one was built in 1903 or 1983. Fact of the matter is that 1903 is the year.

 

Last time I checked I was paying for myscoot, which happens to be an Ultra. Why? Because that is what I like.
My Girlfriend and I rode to Key West from Kansas City, me on the Ultra, her on a 99 Sporty. On the cold rainy days down and back I felt bad for her but she never complained. Now who is the "Real" biker?
As long as you are paying for it, ride what you like and tell everyone else to f---off unless they are going to start making your bike payment.

 

Me thinks who ever coined the Sporty as a cheap entry level bike, never bought a replacement part for one. Same HD as every one else.

BTW HD was FOUNDED in 1903.

Harley didn't make a real motorcycle until 1952 with the introduction of the Model K (later renamed Sportster)
