Default Santa Monica Mountains

Our H.O.G. group did a ride up through the Santa Monica Mountains, (California), this past Saturday. If you haven't done this ride yet, check it out. We didn't see more than maybe one or two cars the whole day. The scenery was nothing short of breathtaking and the twisties were excellent. I dragged my pegs several times.

Where in the SM Mountains? I grew up in Santa Monica and this is still my local stomping grounds!

Did you happen to stop by the "Rock Store". One of my favorite rides and stops when I lived down there...

I am aware of that, I was trying to figure out which road they rode as there are numerous roads that are all great in the SM mountains.

sounds like a great ride... although i am a member, i dont get to go on many rides due to weekend conflicts-
this sounds like a recent ride of LA HOG #1 (out of Bartels in the Marina). they went from El Segundo to the Reagan library... by way of Encinal Canyon to Mullholland last week

--- or maybe not- i just saw that he went this past saturday. LA HOG #1 did their ride a week before i think. oh, well- so now i am interested in seeing what other HOG group is around here!
