Question Battery cover

Anyone experiencing problems with the cover coming off while riding?

I did at first. Well my fault,I changed out battery and the upper left clip wasnt all the way through, couldnt get it so I left it. Clipped it to upper right only. Kept opening up on freeway.

Then got sick of that and pulled clip through finally and no issues. Before I messed with battery I had no issues either.

take off clips,,,they suck!!!!!.....zip ties and be done wit it...my sons 05 sporty kept fallin off....not anymore

I've been using zip-ties for a while now. POS clips.

EDIT: Funny part is there is a hole in the cover and on the frame that line up perfectly as if they expected this problem and made the holes specifically for a zap strap.

I did with the old style clips on my 08' but a TSB has been out forever and my dealer replaced my clips for free with the new updated one so no issues since!
