These modules are supposed to be easy to swap out and I hear a fair number of folks who have the TSSM don't care for it and opt for the TSM. I'd like to try the TSSM but the dealership wants a small fortune for it.
Thanks to Snacks65, I can try the TSSM for a much more reasonable price. If I get to not liking it too, I can always sell it on and reinstall the TSM I already have.

Assuming I have this figured out right, the TSM is the Turn Signal Module and the TSSM is the Turn Signal Security Module. My bike did not come with the TSSM.

the tsm and tssm are the same size the reason i swapped is this
a.. dont want to carry a key fob
b... if key fob fails i have no turn signal buttons to override it and start my bike(you enter a code with the buttons to start if key fob is lost or dies)
c... removed antenna wire (one less wire on my bike)
its pretty simple im going for the most stripped down new bike you can get,so trying to eliminate as much as possible and simplify things

Just got home from a road trip and installed the TSSM that was waiting for me in the mailbox. The instructions for marrying the TSSM to the ESM found on this forum worked perfectly. Since the key fobs you included were already set up for the TSSM, all is working perfectly, no need to pay the dealer set them up.
If I get to not liking the TSSM, I can always swap back, but other than the key fobs being a little larger than they really need to be, I like the way the system works and I think I'll keep it.
Thanks for the good deal and fast shipping.
