I love the Progressive fork springs. Not many straight roads around here. Plenty of twisties

Two weeks after putting progressives on the F&R of my bike I took a trip up to Saucelito via Highway 1 (PCH) through Big Sur, which is very twisty in some parts. Two words: Wa. Hoo!

Racer, don't you love the way the bike maintains its composure on tar lines and other bumps in the turns. They are now non events.

Thumper Progressive has three spring kits for Sportsters, which kit did you use?

Thanks,

Jack

the progressives for stock length 1200r work well and are highly recommended. also use the heavier oil, either from hd or elsewhere (about 20wt). you will immediately notice no more nosedive when braking and better control. i also recommend a fork brace...

Hi, I added the progressive springs up front along with 15wt. Belray fluid and it made entering My driveway much better. Not sure if I will go the Progressive rear shocks tho as with the Avon Venoms the ride feels fine and I never ride 2-up ( Wife says now phuckang way ) so there other hobbies that need those 2 bills right now...WVleo

I installed Progressive springs in my Iron, and it changed the bike! Super easy and worth it!
I got my deal on Amazon.com, under $80 and free shipping. Just look up the part number on Progressives site, then search on Amazon.

What about adding progressive springs up front if you already have intiminators? Is that possible, recommended? or not at all?

I run the intiminators with my works dual rate fork springs. Works great . I like the feel of my bikes front end .
