Default Anyone have 13" shocks on a Nightster or 48?

I want to get a set of 13" shocks, but am afraid it will make the back of the bike look too high off the tire. anyone have a these or have a picture of 13" shocks on a nightster or 48?

I know several people have gone 12-13 inches on the shocks with some lowering blocks.

Yes, it'll look like it's way off the tire. So what? It still won't look bad. Ever looked at a crotch rocket? A 48 will look positively slammed with 13" shocks compared to one of them, especially if you use a lowering block. A 13" shock with a 1" lowering block will garner a much improved ride with only about 1/2" lift at the seat. That's about as unnoticeable as you can get, really.

I just put 11" Progressive Heavy Duty 430's on my 48. The ride is now amazing, at 220 lbs my fat butt is much happier now.

Go get some 13" Arnott air shocks and call it a day, then you can adjust the height when you want a change in the bikes stance and handling.

In the above you tube clips, does any one know what make seat is on those bike? I love them, looks real low seat but follows the rear fender lines.

Default 11" shocks

I have a chance to buy 11" progressive 412's for my 48 at a real good price. I'm only 128 lbs. the stock shocks are beating me to death. I was going with the 12" but can't pass up the 11" deal. Will it give me a softer ride, or should I just buy the 12" shocks thanks guys
