I didn't feel like looking 1/2 way down the page for the other thread, so figured I'd just start another one....since it seems to be the popular opinion that repeat threads on the same page are good for conversation.
How many of you didn't really want to read this........but did anyway?!?!?!

I read it, because I recognized the original poster before I opened the thread. I suspected that it would be something similar to this. I get frustrated on here a lot, and that's why you don't see me on here nearly as often as in the past.

I read it, and now I'm going to go start a thread complaining about reading it.

In defense of those that open new threads on the same old topic, look at those forums that have a great FAQ section and enforce its use, then see how many posts they get per day, very few. The posts they do get are often about boring things only remotely related to the bike the forum is intended to be about. Take the good with the bad we were all once noobies here. If you feel you're not getting much out of the forum any more maybe it's because it has reached the end of its useful life for you. Our needs for information can lessen as we own the bikes for longer. It doesn't mean the forum has gotten worse. I for one would miss the contirbutions of Charley and Sportypig if they ever decided to leave as their contributions are helpful and come from experience.

Your post and your sig made me think of the Geico commercial where the retired drill seargant is a therapist.

I read your post again with his voice in my head, and added "YA JACKWAGON" on the end.
