Default 1977 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLCR Unused Less Than 1 MILE!!!

I was crusing ebay looking for current prices on the sportsters relative to another thread. Came across this auction that seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity for the right person with enough cash. Thought I would share it with you guys in the Sportster forum.
Seems like a pretty cool piece of history.

I have absolutely no connection to this auction whatsoever. I just thought you guys would probably appreciate it more than most.

Cheers,

Cafe racer, slow, compared to the fast bikes being made at the time, ugly euro wanabe clone back in the 70's the way a v rod is now.

HD fooled enough people to make them think it was a real cafe racer.

Sharp bike, but I wouldn't trust original tires from the 70's. New owner should check the cylinders for rust with a boroscope before starting it, sitting kills bikes just like it kills cars.

Default Very Nice,

That thing is very nice a time machine that will take you back.
This bike will end up in a museum somewhere and that is where it belongs. in the condition it is in, probably one of one in that condition, unless harley has one.

That is definately not a rider. Museum piece for sure. Not too sure about $21,000 and still not hit Reserve? I guess it is worth whatever someone will pay for it.

very nice bike.. mabye 1 mile since rebuild, there is no 33yo vehicles with 1 mile, have more then that on new..and after 33 years it has been rolled around quite a lot..i saw a 76flh on ebay once with 7 orig.miles,$50k, it had worn tires, rust and the roters were worn.. plenty of nos speedo/odomiters avail
.....i just looked at the pics. the bike may be low miles but it has defenatley been ridden, brake roters have wear marks.tires have use on them, most of nubs are worn off,i could be wrong, but dont think they are origenal any way.half the bolts/controls,calipers,wheels,gen.bolts..., have been apart(wrench marks)oil pump is discolored from running heat cycles, rear fender bracket has rock chips.and the paint doesnt look origenal, i have seen bikes with 30k miles with better paint..if it has 50 or 5000 miles it is the same value, still used
