Default Air cleaner or hyper charger

In regards to a 2010 Sportster 1200c, can you put ANY type of high flow air cleaner on it with out having it re-mapped? And if so can you give me a part number?
What is everyones opinion of a high flow air cleaner verses a hypercharger?
What is the cost of re-mapping? (I know this depends on dealer, I just want to know some actual numbers)
Does a fuel management module do the same thing as having it remapped, and if so what are some of the benefits?
I have put some Rush slipons on my bike, the dealership said they are the biggest I could put on this bike without having a remap. I know its alot of questions, but any advise would be nice.

I wouldn't out a hypercharger (or any other Kuryakyn products) on any bike. Absolute performance killers. As far as putting an intake on without re-mapping; I wouldn't do it. Personally when I change the intake/exhaust on my bikes I go ahead and do a full dyno tune on them. Of course now that I don't wrench at a dealership anymore it may start costing me some cash now.
I know there are some system out there that you get with a preprogrammed map that others have had success with or go through fuel moto and use their map for a particular combination. Never done this myself but I have heard some good things (especially about Fuel Moto) on this site.

It depends on who you ask... in theory, your EFI should be able to compensate for intake changes, but I don't want to take the chance myself. Personally, I'd go with the Nightrider X14iED unless you are going to be racing it. Great product, inexpensive (~$100), no dyno runs needed.

Stay away from the Hypercharger. Published tests have shown it to perform worse that the stock A/C.

Never heard anything good about the hypercharger and I have also heard great things about fuel motto and that's who I will probably go with if I don't go with tts

The Hyperchargers are not a good intake set up, They do look cool, but that's about it, they have alot of issue and do not flow good at all. Go with just about any other intake out there and it will be better. I feel a re-map should always be done when changing the AC and if you do that they might as well get a nice exhaust if you don't have one already.

For the amount of money they're asking for the Hypercharger, you can get a Heavy Breather or a Big Sucker and have some money left over for a tune. I was looking at them for my bike, but decided on the SE unit - I did a lot of research here and saw it offered the most bang for the buck (Hurricane flow is the best but $$)
