I love my 1200C and thought it was a dumb idea to drop it. I can see not making the 883C, but the 1200C is the best over all package for a sportster IMO, unless you want the bar hopper look. The only thing I don't like about the C package is the 21" front wheel. I think it looks great, but does not handle as good as the 19"

So that means they are not going to build them untill you order what you want. Kind've looks like a 48 and a Nightster rolled together with a 4.5 Gal. gas tank. Will it sell, maybe if the price is right. Also I was thought the custom means lots of chrome, then again he did say different finishes for the engine. We will see I guess.

If Harley really wants to make money they need to redo the frame so the 96ci engine will fit.

"If Harley really wants to make money they need to redo the frame so the 96ci engine will fit".
Why do that?
The 96" motor only makes 5 hp more then the 400cc smaller 1200 sportster engine!
Why not integrate some of the good stuff in the XR-1200 motor (hotter cam, higher compression, stronger crank pin) into the rest of the 1200 sportster line.

Don't you get it???... they are saying you can order it with what ever fenders, tank, paint, seat, wheels and bars you want. So why would you say it looks like this or that? obviously it LOOKS LIKE ANYTHING YOU WANT IT TO LOOK LIKE! that's the whole point!
