Yup, for the most part, depending on why you were popping in the first place. I've heard several people say that it cured it completely for them, others said that it helped a ton, but not cured... of course, YMMV.

 

Check to make sure you don't have an intake leak also, it can cause decel popping.

 

I have an 05 1200c with se2 mufflers and it pops alot iv talked to plunny of people and they say its ok bike runs fine.

 

I also have a 2007 883 Custom with Screamin' Eagle II slip ons and a stock air cleaner and no other mods. It does not backfire or pop at all on decel or any other time.

 

Come to find out the baffles have been removed from my mufflers.My mufflers also have "not for road use "stamped on the bottom.

 

Put the stock mufflers back on.Popping 100 percent gone now.
