My Chatterbox uses FRS and GMRS. I believe that the BTs use CDs in theirs, but I could be wrong. Check with your local dealer for details on what the big bikes have. I love my Chatterbox. www.chatterboxstore.com.

Man I had to read that 5 times before I got that you meant CB's I thought at first you were making a joke about cd's in the radio... [&:]

Chatterbox's 27AH unit communicates just fine with the CB sets in the BTs.

Chatterbox is a POS. I had nothing but trouble with the one I bought. I even had the bike and the system to Chattsworth and let their factory guru's work on it. They couldn't make it work, couldn't fix it, wouldn't exchange it there. I returned it and got my money back.

Go with Autocom and you won't be sorry.

Wow. That's not kewl. I've had really good luck with them. I have the GMRS model and really like it. Haven't used it to much for bike-to-bike, but it works like a champ.

As far as usage, it's just like using a radio on your car. Don't try and adjust the thing while you're going down the road. Get all of that done before. I don't like having mine on my helmet, so I used a Ram Mount to mount it to the handlebars and like it much better that way. I have a small fork bag that holds extra cables, cell phone, iPOD, etc when I want to use those with it.

Order it from Chatterboxstore.com and make sure that you let them know you got the referal from this site and/or from me. One of their blurbs on their website was mine. The owner is a really nice guy and rides himself, although it's a BMW. LOL. I have a few other psots here on this subject as well. Do a quick search and you'll find that and lots moe from others to get more opinions.
